Come Back Yeller

I am torn between wanting it to snow a foot to mask the paw prints on the deck and wanting the freeze up to continue so that they are there forever....

Sorry the vet trip ended that way. I hope you went home and had a huge blubbering cry with your husband! I'm sad with you.

My sympathies for the loss of your pet, Brady. It is hard to lose a living friend who is part and parcel of your daily lives. Do you remember out cat Fred? The little gray tabby with the notch in her ear that followed me home after an EC long evening back in February 1984? She decided to let us live in her house and was our kitty until leaving in December 2004, and that is 21 years old, old for a cat. Not easy to lose her. But guess what, just as Fred left, a beautiful gold cat "Goldie" started staying with us. So there we are, hooked to another cat. I hope the loss gets easier to bear and maybe that a replacement (?) offers itself to you!

I'm so sorry for your loss. It will get easier to deal with as time goes by. Just think about the happy healthy times and know that you gave your doggie a wonderful life.
