After almost a day of waiting on pins (pardon the orthopedic pun) and needles (ha, another one!) to see the surgeon, Yukon and shuffled into the Alaska Surgery Center early this morning for some elbow fixin'.
I'll let the pictures do the talking, since it's been a long day.
As evidenced by the bottle of wine and bag of chocolate chip cookies from two separate friends who know me too well.

I have a red face, I thought it was your SON who was injured. Oof. Not fun at all. Cookies and wine? Sounds like about what the doctor ordered.
Coffee this morning. Can you believe it was after 11 a.m. before I had time to make coffee??? Shocking, that's what it is.
Oh girl, don't make me come up there. It's like the emergency oxygen masks on an airplane. Put yours on first, then tend to the young and infirm.
